Royals Hammer Curt Schilling in Season Opening Loss

by @ 7:23 pm. Filed under 2007 Season

This isn’t the way it’s supposed to happen.  The Royals really took it to the Red Sox today and Curt Schilling took the brunt of the damage.  He gave up five runs on eight hits and two walks with five strikeouts in only four innings of work.

The only Red Sox run came in the first inning when David Ortiz doubled home Kevin Youkilis.  Dustin Pedoria and Youkilis each had two hits and the Red Sox picked up only one walk.

Josh Beckett gets the start on Wednesday.  It sure would be nice to return the favor and even this series back up.

See if another title will be won by purchasing Green Bay Packers Tickets for the season. One of the model franchises is in Foxboro as New England Patriots Tickets are tough to get. The NFC East is pretty competitive so get New York Giants Tickets to see the rivalries. With a new identity New York Jets Tickets are great for the new stadium.
