Red Sox Shut Out In Loss to Athletics

Athletics 5, Red Sox 0  (34-23)

The Red Sox were held to just seven hits and not one baserunner crossed the plate as they return to Fenway Park.  Fred Thomas was the only hitter with a pair of hits and Babe Ruth was held hitless in the loss.

Bullet Joe Bush took the loss in a mediocre start.  He gave up five runs on ten hits and three walks with three strikeouts.
