Fenway Fables

It looks like the Boston Red Sox are worried about the results of J.D. Drew’s physical.  A shoulder injury is the primary concern and it looks like that might explain Drew’s power dip last year.  It’s not certain whether this will just mean there will be an injury clause of some kind in the contract or whether it will be wiped away clean.  This comes on the heels of all of the tampering charges that have been thrown at the Red Sox.

It looks like the next physical is set for Monday so we’ll have to wait and see until then.
