The Red Sox and J.D. Drew have reached a preliminary agreement on a five year, $70 million deal.  This is a really huge signing and if we get a healthy Drew to go along with Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz, the Red Sox are going to be an offensive juggernaught again.

No word on whether Ramirez will be dealt or not.  Theo Epstein gave everyone through tomorrow to wow him with a deal and so far there’s been no news.
